Beaded earrings BARRANQUILLA

Handmade seed bead earrings BARRANQUILLA – sense of Latin America near you.

Length is 6,5cm (2.6″), width is 5,8cm (2.3″).

Idea

This time I picked name for earrings so you will not be ready to pronounce 🙂 But in reality they just reminded me the city of Barranquilla. Of course it is in Latin America, Colombia.  Earrings are made from white and pink beads, that are beaded around gold color stainless steel ring. Closure is also stainless steel.As I remember my trip there were so many white houses, it is completely understandable because of so much heat and sunlight. Barranquilla is a capital of heat near Caribbean sea, so yes it is very hot there. Pink color was also a good idea because city has pink flowers.

At first I have very strange opinion about the city, everything is so exotic and interesting but “how it is possible to live here?” This city is so different from where I live and was born – it is vibrant, colourful, loud, crowded and hot. Buses are faster than fast, markets are so big that you can go shopping here for all day, sellers are using megaphones to welcome you to their shops. But in the end of the trip I felt like at home thinking “I can gladly live here”

Would you like to look unique and exotic? These earrings are not too heavy even big. By having them you would feel and look like kissed by Caribbean sun!

Care

Closure of earrings you can wash with special jewelry wipes, when earrings are dirty you can wash them with water. It is not good to wear earrings when going to shower, bath, pool or sea/lake. When earrings are not worn, keep them in dry place, not in the sunlight. The best way to keep your earrings is in a separate plastic bag or box, away from other accessories.
